Information that can be collected if you visit my website or if you contact me

My website may collect “Non-Personal Information”.

As a law firm, I regularly receive personal data as part of my professional activities. I may collect your Personal Information:

  • when you browse or interact with my website(s) or use any of my online services;

How I use the information

Personal Information: I only use your Personal Information in connection with my ordinary professional activities (including the fulfilment of my legal or regulatory obligations). I process the Personal Information you provide to me when communicating with me (such as the name, email and postal address, phone number, language preference, job title, business affiliations, and content of the communication). The Personal Information may relate to you as well as to your employees and agents. In some instances, I will supplement the Personal Information by information I retrieve from public sources, such as online media or employer websites, for the purpose of confirming your current professional position or obtaining further information to enable me to effectively communicate with you. I use Personal Information for the purposes of providing legal advice or other services and managing my relationship with you, as well as communicating with you, whether in connection with the provision or procurement of goods and services or as your employer or former employer, including processing payments, accounting, auditing, billing and collection and related support services, to send you newsletters and invitations, to maintain my list of contacts or to provide you with other information you may request from me. Personal Information will only be used by me and my technology suppliers (who are obliged to protect your Personal Information to the same extent as I am).

I do not sell or otherwise transfer your Personal Information to third parties (except as I may be required under applicable law). I may also need to transfer personal data to third parties, including third parties based outside Switzerland or the EU, for example (but not limited to) subcontractors, other counsel and accountants and third parties involved in your matters.

Personal Information will be saved until it is no longer reasonably required for the permitted uses or you withdraw your consent, provided that I am not legally required or otherwise permitted to continue to hold such data. In particular, I may retain your Personal Information for an additional period of time to the extent that deletion would require me to overwrite my automated disaster recovery backup systems or to the extent that I deem it necessary to assert or defend legal claims during any relevant retention period.

Non-Personal Information: In general, I use Non-Personal Information to help me improve the Service and customize the user experience. I also aggregate Non-Personal Information in order to track trends and analyze use patterns of the Service. This Privacy Policy does not limit in any way my use or disclosure of Non-Personal Information and I reserve the right to use and disclose such Non-Personal Information to my technology suppliers at my sole discretion.

My website is hosted by Google Sites (“Weebly”). Your information, including Personal Information if provided by you through my website, may be stored through Google’s servers.
